DAY 01: Guwahati – Bhalukpong
Arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station and meet our representative who will also be your travel guide throughout your journey. After that, proceed to Bhalukpong. En route visit the Maha Mritunjay temple near Nagaon. If time permits you can also visit: Nameri. Nameri is a National Park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam. Arrive at Nameri, You can enjoy River Rafting (6 AM to 2 PM) at the Jia Bharali river. DAY 02: Bhalukpong – Dirang
This morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and visit: the Tipi Orchidarium near Bhalukpong which has over 2000 orchid’s varieties. After that proceed to Dirang. DAY 04: Dirang – Tawang
Morning check-out from the hotel and proceed to Tawang. En route visit: Sangti Valley .Tawang is the 6th Dalai Lama’s birth place. Tawang is one of the most spectacular destinations for any tourist. Tawang is located at a height of 12000 ft above sea level. It is a land of Monpa Tribes. Sela pass: It is a narrow pass in the mountainous regions of Arunachal Pradesh, at an elevation of 13,700 ft above mean sea level and it signals our entry into the Tawang valley. There are many scenic spots on the way to Tawang. i.e. Paradise Lake, Jung falls, Jaswantgarh. Overnight stay at Tawang hotel.
DAY 05: Tawang – Bum La Pass – Madhuri Lake
Morning after breakfast, you can go for Bumla Pass: – It lies about 25-30 km from Tawang on the Indo China border. It offers tourists some amazing scenic beauty at an altitude of 15,000 feet above sea level. Here the Indian army greets you with warm hospitality and looks after your safety. This is an off the beat tourist spot that you may not find in other parts of the country. En route visit: PTSO Lake, Madhuri Lake. After that back to Tawang and stayed overnight at Tawang.
DAY 06: Tawang Local Sightseeing

DAY 07: Tawang to Bomdila
This morning, after breakfast, checked out from the hotel, proceed to Bomdila. En route visit: Bomdila Monastery. Bomdila monastery was built in 1965 by the twelfth incarnation of the Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. And was rebuilt by the thirteenth reincarnation, Tsona Gontse Rinpoche renovated the monastery by building a larger prayer hall. Inside the Gompa, there’s a huge prayer hall, which is used by the lamas for praying; the temple of Buddha, and a tiny quarter of monks. Apart from its religious significance, the monastery is also known for its natural beauty which gives a birds eye view of Bomdila town, provides as a view point of magnanimous view of the entire West Kameng Valley from the highest point of this place. Day 04: Cherrapunji Full Day Trekking to Nongriat Village – Cherrapunji
Morning after breakfast go for full day Trekking at Double Decker Root Bridge of Nongrait village, Meghalaya. Take some edible things with you in a small bag pack. The path to the double-decker root bridge is three kilometers, nearly two miles long. It has approximately 3,500 stairs and descends 2,400 feet. Climbing down will take approximately 1.5-2 hours. There is a beautiful waterfall right in front of the double decker bridge, where you can relax for a while. If you want to go further, to the Rainbow waterfall, it will take another 1-2 hours. Climbing back those 3000 steps will take another 2-3 hours. After that back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
Note: It is closed on Sundays and you will not find any local guide there either.
Day 05: Cherrapunji Local Sightseeing – Shillong
Morning after breakfast explore Cherrapunji. Cherrapunjiis the land of wonderful waterfalls and beautiful valleys. Day 2 : Shillong to cherrapunji.
Reach cherrapunji in the morning. start the day in cherrapunji by hopping waterfalls. (lynkasiar falls, mawsawdong falls, janailar falls, mawsawa falls, prut falls, dainthlen falls and nohkalikai falls). Evening we reach our stay and spend the night.
Day 3: Early morning we start for tyrna village which is the start point of the trek. we reach the double decker root bridge, spend the time exploring the beautiful forest, near by natural pools and the rainbow falls. followed by lunch at nongreat village. after lunch we trek back to tyrna, hop in the car and back to our stay in cherrapunji.
Day 4: We say goodbye to cherrapunji and drive towards dawki,shnongpdeng. Enjoy the day in dawki followed by a boat ride on crystal clear water. visit shnongpdeng, where you can experience cliff jumps, zip line etc. lunch at riverside restaurant. stay in a riverside resort.
Day 5: we check out and return to Shillong. enjoy the local markets, church and the famous wards lake. relax for the night.
